The FB-38 FiberBench is widely used as a polarization splitter, polarization controller, and variable optical attenuator. It is especially suitable for basic systems that require just one input and one output path. One of the main advantages of the FB-38 is its design, which positions all components along a common beam path (14.3 mm above the deck) that runs parallel to the base. As a result, the FiberBench simplifies setups that would typically require time-consuming alignment procedures. The FB-38 also features equally sized and uniformly spaced mounting holes, which are ideal for holding various FiberBench accessories that feature dowel pins for easy insertion onto the FiberBench. Moreover, this FiberBench system boasts 2-56 locking setscrews along one side and 3 component mounting systems, providing added convenience and versatility to users.
