The TXP5004 by ThorLabs is a versatile and robust measurement platform chassis that offers a solution to bridging the gap between the research community and the industrial test and measurement market. The chassis is equipped with four slots that can house up to 4 TXP modules, which can be controlled by an external PC connected via the USB interface of the TXP5004.

The TXP5004 comes with a wide range power supply compatible with line voltage between 100...240VAC, 50-60Hz. The TXP software allows for remote control of the modules via the LAN and the local USB control PC. The programming USB interface includes LabVIEW® / LabWindows/CVI® and C drivers. The TXP5004 also features a "hot plug feature," allowing for the replacement of any module without interrupting other running processes of the same mainframe. The TXP5004 allows operation of it's components through an easy-to-use PC interface, making automation and remote control possible. This helps in creating a user-friendly environment and a more productive workspace. The chassis also offers TCP/IP support for easy remote control over a network.
