The CVH100-COL by ThorLabs is a top-quality SMA905-to-SM1 fiber adapter designed to deliver precision and versatility to an optical collimation setup. The CVH100-COL allows users to easily mount a variety of unmounted plano-convex lens with a diameter of Ø1/2" and for collimation to occur when it is inserted through the path that has a beam.

The CVH100-COL adapter provides enhanced flexibility by serving as a reliable replacement for SMA905 fiber adapters, especially in specialized setups that require a multimode fiber with a diameter boasting a large core to be optimally fiber coupled or when an anti-reflective (AR) collimating lens is needed. The adapter comes with a set of 6.8 mm and 9.6 mm spacer rings and a SM05RR retaining ring that ensures secure positioning of the lens. It is recommended to use a compatible spanner wrench to safely secure the retaining ring. When used with a plano-convex lens, it can be mounted so that the plano side faces the fiber using the internal SM05 (0.535"-40) mounting threads. The CVH100-COL is also compatible with the CVH100 cuvette holder, making it a highly versatile accessory.
