The S145C by ThorLabs is an integrating sphere power sensor head which serves as a top-of-the-line device designed to measure optical power independently of the divergence angle and shape of the incoming beam. This advanced sensor head is perfect for use with fiber sources and off-axis free space sources, making it a must-have tool for professionals in the optics industry.

The S145C boasts an impressive range, capable of detecting light from 1 µW up to 3 W, and is designed for wavelength ranges from the visible through the NIR. Its detection is made possible through the use of an InGaAs photodiode, which offers reliable detection in the 800 - 1700 nm wavelength range.

In terms of design, the S145C features Ø12 mm apertures, externally SM1-threaded (1.035"-40) front connections, enhanced shielding against electromagnetic interference, and an over-temperature alert sensor. For added flexibility, a compatible S120-FC fiber adapter can be used with FC/PC-terminated fiber or FC/APC-terminated fibers. The externally SM1-threaded adapter can be removed using a size 1 screwdriver to place components closer to the window. Additionally, the S145C can be mounted to Ø1/2" posts and post holders with 8-32- and M4-threaded tapped holes.
