The S155C by ThorLabs is a state-of-the-art compact fiber photodiode power sensor designed specifically for fiber-based applications in the visible (VIS) and near-infrared (NIR) wavelength range. With its unique and innovative design, the S155C eliminates the need for a cable between the sensor head and power meter console, making it the ideal solution for power measurements from a wide variety of fiber-coupled sources.

Spectrally calibrated over the entire wavelength operating range, the S155C is capable of detecting light from nanowatts up to 20 mW, making it a versatile tool for any application requiring precision power measurements. The sensor is also compatible with FC fiber adapters, as well as easily interchangeable SMA, ST, LC, and SC adapters - all without the need for any additional tools.

The S155C’s housing is equipped with a sub-D connector with a self-fixing mechanism, allowing for easy and secure connection to display units, C-series power meter consoles, and C-series power and energy meter interfaces. The S155C is designed to be as compact as possible, with the sensor integrated right into the connector so it can easily be plugged directly into the console.
