The CPS532-C2 by ThorLabs is a cutting-edge collimated laser-diode-pumped laser module that delivers superior performance for laser applications. With its narrower linewidth compared to conventional collimated laser diode modules, the CPS532-C2 produces an output beam with a round beam shape, providing precise and consistent results.

The CPS532-C2 has a Diode-Pumped Solid State (DPSS) laser, which includes an internal attenuator that reduces the output power to a Class 2 safety rating, ensuring safe operation in various settings. The CPS532-C2 is housed in a compact Ø11 mm diameter housing, making it an ideal choice for alignment laser applications. The laser emits at a wavelength of 532 nm, providing a visible green beam that is perfect for a wide range of applications. Designed to withstand large temperature variations, the CPS532-C2 is engineered to deliver reliable performance in challenging environments. The precision machined housing ensures optimal parallelism between the housing and output beam, guaranteeing consistent results. The CPS532-C2 comes with an 18" (457 mm) strain relief cable, providing flexibility in installation options.

The CPS532-C2 operates with a VDC power supply, providing an output range of 0.9 mW. It is compatible with external battery packs and wall adapters, offering versatility in powering options. Please note that the use of a USB-to-phono plug is required for the external battery pack. The CPS532-C2 can be used with various different mounting adapters which allow for optomechanical component compatibility and seamless integration into an existing setup. It can be directly mounted into internal SM1-threaded (1.035"-40) mechanics or components with a Ø1" bore, or used with a Mini-Series kinematic mount that features 4-40 (M3) taps for mounting onto compatible posts.

For added convenience, the CPS532-C2 is also compatible with mounting kits that include a kinematic mount, post, post holder, base, and a 5 VDC power supply, providing an all-in-one solution for easy setup. Please be aware that direct viewing of the CPS532-C2's laser diode can cause eye damage, and extreme caution must be exercised to prevent direct or indirect exposure of the beam to the eyes or external optics/mirrors. Additionally, the CPS532-C2 operates in constant power mode, utilizing built-in photodiode feedback for consistent performance.
