This results in a typical spectral bandwidth (FWHM) of 0.06 nm, which enables it to deliver exceptional precision and accuracy in a wide range of applications.

The FPV785M is contained in a hermetically sealed butterfly package with 14 pins; this ensures temperature regulation which makes it ideal for usage in applications that require precise temperature control. The package includes a thermoelectric cooler (TEC), thermistor, and monitor photodiode, ensuring that the device remains stable and reliable throughout its lifespan. The FPV785M produces a wavelength-stabilized spectrum with a typical output power of 600 mW, which is coupled to 1.0 m of FC/PC-terminated multimode fiber.
