The HL6322G by ThorLabs is a high-performance laser diode designed for use in laser levelers and measurement applications. This laser diode boasts a cutting-edge multi-quantum well (MQW) structure and a 0.63 µm band AlGaInP. The HL6322G comes packaged in a Ø9 mm TO can and is configured into a standard A pin code, making it easy to determine compatible mounts. Additionally, this laser diode has a visible light output of 635 nm, which is almost equal to its He-Ne gas laser counterparts.

The HL6322G’s typical center wavelength may vary from unit to unit, but it is guaranteed to operate in single longitudinal mode and provide TM mode oscillation capability. With an optical output power of 15 mW, maximum low operating current of 100 mA, and maximum low operating voltage of 2.7 V, this device is a versatile and efficient light source for a wide range of applications.
