The OSL1-EC by ThorLabs is a fiber light source that serves as a top-of-the-line product designed to meet the high-intensity light requirements of microscopy and lab applications. Compatible with a lamp, bulb, 36" (91 cm) long Ø1/4" fiber bundle, and fiber adapter chuck, this fiber light source is versatile and reliable. For easy integration of the fiber bundle into any SM1-compatible mounting hardware, it is reccommended that an AD8F mounting adapter is used.

The OSL1-EC operates best when the operating voltage is identical to the local power supply. It's important to note that the unit remains connected to the AC power source as long as it's plugged into the wall outlet, even when turned off. When disconnecting the AC power cord, grasp the plug instead of the cord and replace it with an IEC compatible cord. To ensure optimal performance and user safety, it's crucial to turn off the power to the OSL1-EC before making any connections to the unit.
