The DRV120 by ThorLabs is a modular piezo driver that extends travel range and enhances control of NanoMax flexure stages. The DRV120 is designed to provide additional capabilities to compatible modular quick-connect adapters, enabling it to fit into various stages that accept a Ø9.5 mm (Ø3/8") or Ø10 mm (Ø0.39") mounting barrel.
The DRV120 is built to fit between the stage and an existing actuator with a DRV3 differential actuator, and it is compatible with other actuators as well. This driver provides 20 µm of travel and feedback position sensing with an impressive 5 nm resolution. Additionally, the DRV120 supports closed-loop control, and it can be easily operated with a PAA622 piezo control cable.
