The GNL10 by ThorLabs is a cutting-edge goniometric stage that allows for precise rotation of objects within a small angular range about a fixed point in space. The GNL10 stage offers a unique advantage over linear stages as it enables partial rotation around a fixed point that is positioned above the mounting surface.
The GNL10 is equipped with a precision micrometer to enhance the angular positioning of the top of the plate. The innovative design of this goniometer allows for two different models to be placed in an XY configuration and have both move around the same spot. Additionally, the GNL10 can be easily mounted atop a GNL18 stage. The GNL10 utilizes precise dovetail construction, backlash-free leadscrews and vernier scales to provide precise, repeatable positioning. The side-mounted set screw can be used to lock the platform in place, providing additional stability during use.
The GNL10 offers unobstructed, pure rotational motion about its point of rotation over the angle of rotation. It comes equipped with an array of four 2-56, four 4-40 (M2.5 x 0.45), and eight 6-32 (M3 x 0.5) taps for mounting, providing added versatility in your lab. Moreover, it can be effortlessly mounted onto a standard breadboard or Mini-Series breadboard with 1/4"-20 (M6) taps via the 1/4" (M6) slotted mounting holes on the base plate.
