The NFL5DP20S by ThorLabs is a high-quality NanoFlex translation stage that is designed to deliver ultra-smooth translation for applications that require exceptional precision and accuracy. The NFL5DP20S has been optimized for a variety of applications, including interferometry, microscopy, and other precision nanopositioning applications.

The NFL5DP20S boasts a compound linear symmetrical flexure design that ensures true linear motion without any cross talk throughout the entire range of translation. This design gets rid of components that depend on contact to work effectively, thus ensuring consistent performance in a range of difficult conditions. Because of its robust and stable structure, the NFL5DP20S can be stacked in 2-axis or 3-axis configurations using an optional compatible angle bracket and base plate. This feature makes it possible to achieve precise planar movement in x-y and x-y-z configurations where stability is of utmost importance.

The NFL5DP20S is capable of supporting a load capacity of up to 1kg (2.2 lbs) when mounted horizontally, and 0.5 kg (1.1 lbs) when mounted vertically, making it ideal for a variety of applications. Moreover, it features 5mm of coarse manual adjustment with a resolution of 1µm, as well as differential adjusters that offer 300µm of fine adjustment at a resolution of 50 nm.
