The PT1/M by ThorLabs is a high-quality translation stage designed to meet any precision motion needs. The PT1/M is configured with a metric 150-801ME micrometer, offering a 25.0 mm travel range and engraved graduations every 10 µm, ensuring accurate and reliable measurements. The PT1/M is equipped with sixteen 1/4"-20 (M6) tapped mounting holes that are 0.22" (5.8 mm) deep, providing versatile options for mounting and attachment. Two oversized 1/4" (M6) counterbores allow direct attachment to a mounting adapter or a metric or imperial breadboard using user-supplied cap screws, ensuring stability and ease of use.

One of the notable features of the PT1/M is its modular design, which allows for easy configuration in XY and XYZ orientations. It comes with two precision dowel pins that enable the PT1/M to be stacked in right- or left-handed XY configurations with excellent orthogonality of <5 mrad. This allows for flexible and customizable setups to suit specific experimental requirements. The PT1/M also offers a right-handed XYZ configuration option, with either the standard manual micrometer or the differential micrometer, providing further versatility in motion control. The hardened steel linear bearings ensure smooth and precise motion, while also ensuring a long life span, making it a durable and reliable choice for experimental setups.
