The A110TM-B by ThorLabs is an exceptional mounted aspheric lens that is designed to efficiently collimate or focus light while avoiding the introduction of spherical aberration into a transmitted wavefront. The A110TM-B is specifically optimized to mitigate the impacts of spherical aberration, making it the ideal single element solution for various applications such as imaging light into a detector, spatial filtering, coupling light into a fiber, and collimating the output of a fiber or laser diode.

The A110TM-B has an antireflection (AR) coating for the 650 nm - 1050 nm range that is deposited on both sides of the lens, making it an ideal choice for reducing unwanted reflections. This lens is securely mounted in nonmagnetic lens cells that are made of 303 stainless steel and are clearly engraved with the unique item number for the ease of identification. The lens also boasts a metric thread, making it simple to use in an OEM application or optical setup. Notably, the A110TM-B is easily compatible with a range of lenses through the use of an aspheric lens adapter, and can be readily used with a compatible SM1-threaded (1.035"-40) lens tube. In addition, when combined with a microscope objective adapter extension tube, this lens can be effortlessly used in multi-element microscope applications when used as a drop-in replacement.
