The BB1-E02 by ThorLabs is a broadband dielectric mirror that provides outstanding reflectance over a broad spectral range of 400 - 750 nm. This cutting-edge technology is ideal for various applications in scientific research, telecommunications, and optical instrumentation.
To ensure seamless integration into the user’s equipment, the BB1-E02 has its specific part number engraved on the back for easy identification. Moreover, the mirror's reflectance properties are a function of wavelength for unpolarized light that is incident at an angle of either 6° or 8°. Although this measurement angle was chosen due to measurement limitations at 0°, the reflectance plots closely represent reflectance at 0°.
The BB1-E02 boasts a round mirror thickness of 6.0 mm (0.24"), fused silica substrates, Ravg > 99% for P-polarization and S-polarization for angles of incidence from a range of 0 to 45°, and a unique design that makes it ideally suited for use with CW and nanosecond lasers.
