The C280TME-A by ThorLabs is a mounted Geltech aspheric lens, optimized for achieving diffraction-limited performance when collimating or focusing light monochromatic sources without subjecting the transmitted wavefront to spherical aberration. The C280TME-A has been specifically designed to mitigate the impacts of spherical aberration and is often the best single element solution for a variety of applications. With its advanced antireflection (AR) coating for the 400 nm to 600 nm range, which is deposited on both sides, this lens ensures maximum light transmission efficiency.

Crafted from nonmagnetic 303 stainless steel, the C280TME-A is built to last. The lens is mounted in a precision-engineered engraved lens cell that features the lens’ item number in order to simplify identification. Its metric thread makes it easy to integrate into an optical or OEM application. Furthermore, with our aspheric lens adapters, this lens can also be readily used with SM1-threaded (1.035"-40) lens tubes. The C280TME-A can be utilized as a multi-element microscope objective drop-in replacement when combined with a compatible microscope objective adapter extension tube.
