The NE203B by ThorLabs is an absorptive neutral density (ND) filter that is unmounted, has a 0.3 optical density (OD), and is ideal for low-power applications. The NE203B has a Schott glass substrate fabrication and in the 400 nm to 650 nm visible wavelength region, it boasts an spectrally flat absorption coefficient. It is recommended that the NE203B be calibrated in a setup before taking measurements, due to the variation that can occur between different glass units in the substrate.
