The PBS103 by ThorLabs is a high-quality polarizing beamsplitter cube that is designed to separate the s-polarization and p-polarization components of a beam. The PBS103 is a compact device that measures 10 mm in size and has a wavelength range of 900 - 1300 nm. It is fabricated with N-SF1 glass and features a dielectric beamsplitting coating that is applied to the hypotenuse of one of the two prisms that make up the cube. These prisms are bound together with cement, which ensures a secure and durable bond. The PBS103 is easy to use and can be input with light through any of its polished faces to separate the S and P polarizations. It also features engraved arrows that indicate one possible orientation of the cube, which makes it easier to align the device with the incoming beam.
