The PF30-03-P01 is coated with protected silver, providing unparalleled reflectance in the range of 450 nm - 20 µm. This makes it an ideal choice for use with femtosecond pulsed lasers. Additionally, the mirror features a durable SiO2 overcoat with an approximate thickness of 100 nm to protect it from oxidation. The overcoat helps to prevent tarnishing and protect the surface from damage, ensuring that it remains in pristine condition for an extended period. To further facilitate ease of use, the PF30-03-P01 is engraved with the item number on the back of the substrate, allowing for easy identification in a laboratory environment.

It is important to note that due to the sensitivity of the PF30-03-P01 to environmental conditions and improper handling, additional care is required when working with this mirror. Exposure to elements like fingerprints, abrasive surfaces, as well as high humidity or temperature can cause discoloration and damage the protective coating of silver. This will result in oxidation and other degradation of the metal eventually leading to a decrease in effectiveness.
