The S1TM09 by ThorLabs is a lens cell adapter that is designed to securely hold mounted aspheric and achromatic lenses in a wide range of applications. Designed with precision and versatility in mind, the S1TM09 is compatible with SM05-threaded and SM1-threaded lens tubes, as well as 30 mm cage system assemblies, making it incredibly versatile for various optical setups.

One of the standout features of the S1TM09 is its compatibility with RMS-threaded adapters, allowing the user to easily incorporate an aspheric lens into any optical system that uses the same RMS threads typically found in microscopy objectives. This opens up a world of possibilities for integrating aspheric lenses into an existing optical setup with ease. Designed to meet the needs of laser diode applications, the S1TM09 is specifically engineered for use with standard LDM21 and high power TEC-cooled laser diode mounts, in which it has the ability to focus or collimate the output of a laser diode.

The S1TM09 also features 30 mm cage plates that allow the user to mount lenses in cage assemblies for focusing and collimation, providing the user with additional flexibility and convenience in an optical setup. To ensure stability and minimize unwanted adapter translation, rubber O-rings are included on SM-threaded mounts, ensuring a secure and reliable lens mounting solution. For ease of use, it is recommended to use a spanner wrench to securely mount aspheric lenses into the S1TM09. Additionally, the spanner wrench can be used to easily thread the lens adapter into lens tubes, further simplifying the lens installation process.
