The WG50530 by ThorLabs is a calcium fluoride (CaF2) high-precision window that has been engineered to offer unparalleled performance in a range of demanding applications. The WG50530 boasts high transmission from the UV(180 nm) to the NIR (8 μm), making it an excellent choice for free-space and excimer lasers, as well as cryogenically cooled thermal imaging systems.

One of the key features of the WG50530 is its high damage threshold and low absorption coefficient, which makes it well-suited for use in applications that demand precision and durability. This high-precision window can be used at a maximum of 1000 °C in dry environments, but in when moisture is present, temperatures over 600 °C will cause degradation to occur. It's worth noting that the WG50530 has a randomly oriented crystal axis, just like all other high-precision windows. This means that it can be used with confidence in a range of applications, without the need to worry about crystal orientation or alignment.
