The CF125 by ThorLabs is an exceptional clamping fork designed for precision and stability. This innovative product is specifically engineered to provide an unparalleled clamping force when used with Ø1/2" post holders and Ø1" post extensions that have been adapted using the BE1(/M) to pedestal-style mounts. Alternatively, the CF125 can also be used with pedestal-style Ø1/2" post holders or Ø1" pedestal posts without the need for additional pedestal-style mounts.

Crafted from solid 303 stainless steel, the CF125 creates three points of contact with a breadboard or optical table for optimal stability. The clamping fork's three different sizes allow for greater flexibility in positioning post assemblies, with the CF125 model featuring a 1.24" (31.5 mm) long counterbored slot. Furthermore, the CF125 is designed for 1/4"-20 (M6)-threaded cap screws, making it compatible with a wide range of post holders and extensions. It's crucial to note that over-tightening the CF125 clamping forks can cause surface deformation on the optical table and reduce stability. Therefore, it's recommended to install the clamping forks with care to ensure optimal performance.
