The CP02 by ThorLabs is a high-quality SM1-threaded 30 mm cage plate that offers an efficient and convenient solution for building large optomechanical systems with an high flexibility and quick alignment line of precision-machined building blocks. The CP02 provides a reliable means for mounting optical components with diameters ranging from 5 mm to 1" within a cage system.

Measuring 0.35" thick, the CP02 boasts a center-located SM1 (1.035"-40) threaded bore that is compatible with a variety of popular Ø1" lens tubes. Moreover, the cage plate is post mountable via an 8-32 (M4) tap. The SM1-threaded bore can directly accept a Ø1'' optic up to 0.2" (5 mm) thick. The CP02's design is meticulously crafted, and each cage rod through hole is accompanied by a side-located locking 4-40 setscrew that can be secured using a 0.05" (1.3 mm) hex key or balldriver. This feature ensures that the components are locked in place with high precision, minimizing any potential misalignment that can affect the overall performance of the optomechanical system. Additionally, this cage plate is compatible with two SM1RR retaining rings.
