The CP06/M by ThorLabs is the perfect cage plate for aligning Ø1" mirrors or other optical components into a 30 mm cage system. With its well-defined mounting and thread standards, the cage plate is designed to directly interface with a wide range of specialized compatible products, making it incredibly versatile and flexible for various optical setups. Constructed with precision-machined building blocks, the CP06/M provides a convenient and reliable solution for constructing large optomechanical systems with quick and accurate alignment. Designed to accommodate optical components with diameters ranging from 5 mm to 1", the CP06/M features Ø6 mm ER cage rods, ensuring a secure and stable mounting solution.

The CP06/M boasts a double-bored mounting area that provides two lines of stable contact to hold the optic firmly in place. The top-located nylon-tipped set screw, which can be easily fastened with a 5/64" (2.0 mm) ball driver or hex key, ensures secure locking of the optic. Please note that the optic must be at least 0.15" (3.8 mm) thick for proper mounting in the cage plate. For added convenience, the CP06/M also features a bottom-located 8-32 (M4) tap for post mounting, allowing for even more versatility in optical setups. Additionally, each cage rod through hole is accompanied by a side-located locking 4-40 set screw, which can be easily secured using a 0.05" (1.3 mm) ball driver or hex key, ensuring precise alignment and stability.
