The KM100B by ThorLabs is the perfect kinematic platform mount for those seeking kinematic control for prisms and non-standard optics. With a unique design that provides an unobstructed path from any direction by positioning the knobs below the mounting plane, the KM100B can be oriented both horizontally and vertically, and is specially designed for use with clamping arms.

The KM100B is constructed from black anodized aluminum and contains several 6-32 (M4) tapped holes for mounting compatible PM3 or PM4 clamping arms. Additionally, it comes with five 1/4"-20 (M6) tapped holes and four #8 (M4) counterbores that provide direct mechanical compatibility with standard optomechanics. Compact yet powerful, the KM100B measures just 1.92" x 1.92" (48.6 mm x 48.6 mm) in dimensions, but packs a punch with its two 80 TPI adjusters for ±4° of tip and tilt control. This feature allows for precise adjustments, ensuring that the optics are aligned in the desired position. Once the desired position has been reached, the user can lock the adjusters in place using a compatible bronze locking nut.
