The KM200B by ThorLabs is a highly reliable and effective kinematic platform mount that has been specifically designed to provide precise kinematic control for prisms and non-standard optics. Constructed from durable black anodized aluminum, the KM200B measures 2.90" x 2.90" (73.7 mm x 73.7 mm) and offers a broad range of features that make it an ideal choice for a wide range of applications.

One of the key features of the KM200B is its ±3° of tip and tilt control, which allows for highly accurate adjustments that are essential for achieving optimal optical performance. This mount also includes several 6-32 (M4) tapped holes for mounting PM3 or PM4 clamping arms. The KM200B has been designed with compatibility in mind and includes five 1/4"-20 (M6) tapped holes and four #8 (M4) counterbores, making it directly compatible with standard optomechanics. The #8 (M4) through holes enable the user to mount the platform on a Ø1/2" post.

In addition to its impressive compatibility features, the KM200B also offers unobstructed beam paths from any direction, thanks to the unique positioning of its knobs below the mounting plate. This allows the user to easily and precisely adjust an optic without interference from kinematic adjusters. The KM200B features two 80 TPI adjusters for fine tip and tilt control and can be oriented horizontally or vertically, giving the user even greater control over a setup. It also includes removable knobs that expose adjuster screws with a hex socket, providing easy access for adjustments when needed.
