The KMS by ThorLabs is a two-adjuster kinematic mirror mount that is designed with a compact profile to cater to space-constrained applications. Measuring at just 1.00" x 1.13" x 1.30" (25.4 mm x 28.7 mm x 33.0 mm), the KMS is perfect for applications where both vertical and horizontal post mounting is necessary.

The KMS is equipped with two adjusters and hardened steel inserts at kinematic contact points to minimize wear of the mirror mount. Additionally, the adjusters come with removable knobs and are housed in bronze bushings to ensure smooth and long-lasting operation. Thanks to the hex head on the adjusters, compatible hex key knobs or hex keys can be used to make adjustments even when the knobs are removed. The KMS boasts an angular displacement range of ±4° with an adjustment per revolution of 15 mrad/rev. Furthermore, it comes with two 8-32 (M4) threaded holes that enable horizontal or vertical Ø1/2" post mounting. The mount is also equipped with a 4-40 tapped hole, which allows a compatible mirror holder to be attached to the front face plate of the mount.
