The KMSS/M by ThorLabs is an exceptional kinematic mirror mount that boasts a compact design and optimized features for use in a variety of different applications. The KMSS/M is designed with shortened adjusters which minimizes its overall volume to 1.00" x 1.13" x 0.79", making it an ideal choice for applications that require compact equipment. The adjuster's minimal length renders it impossible to attach a knob to the adjuster, which requires the use of a HKTS-5/64 hex key knob or a 5/64" hex key to adjust the mirror mount.

A feature of the KMSS/M is its angular displacement range of the mirror face of ±4° with an adjustment per revolution of 15 mrad/rev. Additionally, this mount is equipped with two 8-32 (M4) threaded holes, which allow for horizontal or vertical mounting, which enables flexibility and convivence for the user. It features a 4-40 tapped hole on the front faceplate, which enables the user to attach compatible mirror holders for added versatility. The KMSS/M is fabricated from a sturdy black anodized aluminum.
