The LRM1 by ThorLabs is a high-quality continuous rotation mount designed to support Ø1" optics in a variety of applications. With full 360° rotation of the front dial face and a setscrew for locking the rotational position into place, the LRM1 provides backlash-free smooth rotation all contained in a compact package that is also lockable.
One of the key features of the LRM1 is its external SM1 threads (1.035"-40), which allow the mount to be threaded directly onto any internally SM1-threaded device such as SM1 lens tubes. The mount's center aperture is also SM1-threaded, and can accommodate Ø1" (Ø25.4 mm) optics up to 0.34” (8.6 mm) thick, held in place by an included SM1RR retaining ring. It is recommended to use a spanner wrench to secure the optic into place.
The LRM1's knurled edge and 360° laser-engraved scale marked at 2° increments ensure positioning that is precise and repeatable and fine angular adjustment. Four equally spaced witness lines engraved into the mount's perimeter ensure that there is always a witness line in a convenient and easily readable position. Additionally, two notches along the mount's circumference accommodate the SPW801 adjustable spanner wrench to aid in securing the mount into place. To lock the mount into position, the LRM1 comes with an 8-32 nylon-tipped setscrew on the outer edge, which can be adjusted using a 5/64" (2.0 mm) hex key or ball driver.
