The ThorLabs MB3060/M is an essential tool designed for mounting small subsystems, conducting experiments, and putting together optical assemblies prototypes. This aluminum breadboard is designed to provide a cost-effective and convenient platform that meets the needs of researchers, scientists, and engineers. The MB3060/M features an anti-reflective, black anodized coating, providing an attractive finish that is both durable and functional. With a through-drilled 25 mm hole pattern offset 12.5 mm from the edges of the board, the holes are threaded completely through the MB3060/M. This allows for the mounting of components of both sides of the unit simultaneously.
The MB3060/M has five mounting holes that can create a surface that is uninterrupted and optimized for a variety of applications using 1/4"-20 (M6) threaded holes. On each corner of the breadboard, there are four standard mounting holes, inset 25 mm from each edge. The fifth counterbored hole is located at the center of the board. Mounting the breadboard at the center hole reduces pressure on the corner mounting holes, making them more rigid when faced with heavy loads. Thanks to its versatile design, the MB3060/M can attach a variety of mounts and surfaces, including brackets, optical tables, mounting posts, and other breadboards. The MB3060/M has a large surface area of 300 mm x 600 mm x 12.7 mm, making it ideal for a wide range of experimental setups and applications.
