The MB4 by ThorLabs is an aluminum breadboard that is constructed with a non-magnetic aluminum base, providing a reliable platform to assemble prototype optical assemblies, conduct experiments, and mount small subsystems. The MB4 is engineered with a black anodized surface and has compact dimensions of 4" x 6" x 1/2".
The MB4 is drilled through with a standard 1" hole pattern that is offset 1/2" from the board edges, providing ample space to mount a range of optical components with ease. The holes are fully threaded through the breadboard, allowing for components to be mounted on both sides simultaneously. The MB4 features an array of 1/4"-20 (M6) threaded holes that have four offset mounting holes, forming a surface that is uninterrupted for a variety of applications. Additionally, inset from the edge by 1” on all four corners are the four standard mounting holes.
