The MBC6030/M by ThorLabs is a versatile water-cooled breadboard that is designed to meet the requirements of temperature-sensitive applications involving sensors, detectors, lasers, LEDs, and other apparatus. The MBC6030/M is a must-have for researchers, scientists, and engineers who require reliable temperature stabilization for their experiments and tests.

The MBC6030/M can be used for both cooling and heating applications, depending on your specific requirements. With a standard 1.0" or 25 mm hole pitch, a working pressure rating of up to 80 psi, and a working temperature range of 0 to 60 °C, this breadboard offers exceptional performance and flexibility for a wide range of applications. This breadboard features two fittings that accept tubing with a 1/4" (6 mm) outer diameter, making it easy to connect to a water or coolant supply. With its compatibility with a 16' (5 m) of polyurethane connection tubing, which can be trimmed to suit your application, the MBC6030/M offers excellent adaptability and ease of use. Simply cut the tubing to the required length, trim the edges flush, insert the tubing into the push-to-fit connectors, and connect the other end of the water supply/chiller unit.

The MBC6030/M comes with five mounting holes offset from the array of 1/4"-20 (M6) threaded holes, which are counterbored to create an uninterrupted surface for your intended application. The four standard mounting holes are strategically placed at each corner of the breadboard at a distance of 2" (50 mm) from the edge. A fifth mounting hole is located precisely in the center of the breadboard. Incorporating the middle hole in the design increases the number of viable mounting options, lessens burden on the edge mounting holes and boosts stability when carrying heavy weights on the MBC6030/M.

It is essential to note that depending on the environmental temperature and humidity levels and the temperature of the board, condensation can form on the MBC6030/M. Therefore, it is recommended to follow standard guidelines to prevent this from occurring and potentially causing damage to the board or the instruments of application.
