The P14 by ThorLabs is a mounting post that serves as a robust and durable solution for assembling large, rigid, 3D structures that demand high structural integrity. Constructed from solid nonmagnetic 303 stainless steel, the P14 is built to withstand the rigors of demanding applications.

With its stackable design, the P14 offers versatility and flexibility, allowing multiple mounting posts to be joined together using 1/4"-20 (M6) tapped holes on both ends, thereby achieving a wide range of mounting heights. The thread depth of the P14 falls between 0.375" (9.525 mm) and 0.400" (10.16 mm), providing ample thread engagement for secure stacking. To ensure that stacked posts are securely tightened, a 3/16" (5 mm) balldriver inserted through the side clearance hole is all that's needed to achieve sufficient torque. Additionally, this mounting post features large-diameter relief cuts on both ends, providing stable mounting during assembly.
