The PF175 by ThorLabs is a highly efficient clamping fork designed to offer exceptional clamping force when used in conjunction with Ø1.5" posts that have been adapted using pedestal style mounts. Crafted from anodized aluminum, the PF175 creates three points of contact with an optical table, which guarantees high stability.

Featuring a 2.11" (54 mm) long counterbored slot, the PF175 provides an ideal mounting option for 1/4"-20 (M6) cap screws. The slot enables the selection of the most convenient mounting hole and creates flexibility in the positioning of post assemblies. However, it is important to note that significant over-tightening of clamping forks can deform the surface of an optical table or breadboard, leading to misalignment of components and decreased stability. The PF175 is not only compatible with Ø1.5" posts, but can also be used with Ø1" post holders or BLP01 adjustable-height posts, making it a versatile solution for the needs of the user. Its rigid one-piece construction features relief cuts that maximize clamping stability, making it a highly dependable and durable product.
