The PH150E/M by ThorLabs is a pedestal post holder that combines the flexibility of a standard post holder with the compact design of a pedestal and fork post holder, making it an excellent choice for setups where a specific height has not been determined. The PH150E/M features a base that works in tandem with clamping forks, allowing for adaptable mounting options on an optical table. It can be firmly locked down to an optical breadboard using these forks, providing a sturdy and stable foundation. Additionally, the fork can be swiveled 360° to select the most convenient mounting hole, further enhancing the product's flexibility.

To improve the mounting system of the PH150E/M, high-strength magnets have been added, which provide a strong holding force while allowing for temporary positioning of the post holder before locking it down. This feature saves time and effort while ensuring a precise and secure setup. The PH150E/M also boasts a through hole design, which provides the maximum range of post height adjustment. Additionally, the product features an aluminum, spring-loaded, hex-locking thumbscrew for positioning ease and an extra wide relief cut that provides a two-line stable contact for post mounting.
