With a wide, square relief cut, this post holder ensures two lines of contact, delivering unparalleled precision and stability in an optical setup. The PH2-P5 boasts an Ø1/2" size and is the perfect solution for mounting optical components when the specific height for a setup has not yet been determined.

The PH2-P5 comes equipped with a spring-loaded plunger within the aluminum thumbscrew that securely holds a steel post in place before final tightening. This unique design allows for effortless one-handed positioning of post-mounted devices, saving you time and effort. Imperial in design, this post holder is compatible with 3/16" spring-loaded hex-locking thumbscrews. However, it is essential to note that these thumbscrews should not be tightened beyond the maximum torque of 28 in·lbs (3.2 N·m) to ensure optimal performance. Furthermore, the PH2-P5 is versatile and can be mounted to a mounting base using a 1/4"-20 (M6) cap screw, making it compatible with table bases and base adapters.
