The RS99 by ThorLabs is a Periscope Assembly that is designed to redirect and alter the height of a beam within an optical system with precision and ease. The RS99 is a reliable and versatile tool consisting of a top and bottom unit, a Ø1" post, and a clamping fork. It also features lockable adjustment knobs that provide 360° continuous rotation of incoming light.

The top unit of the RS99 is optimized for pitch/yaw adjustment, which can be used to compensate for angular deviations of the input beam relative to the optic. This top plate features a ±4° tip and tilt with an adjustment per revolution of 8 mrad/rev and can hold optics that are at least 0.13" (3.3 mm) thick. The bottom unit of the RS99 provides a right-angle mirror mount of the optics as well as a clear aperture for beam sampling. Additionally, the RS99 is designed with a minimum beam height of 1.8” and a maximum beam height of 4.6”. The fabricated housing of black anodized aluminum ensures durability and reliability, and the unit can be easily mounted to a Ø1" post using a 360° continuous rotation pillar post clamp.
