The RSP05 by ThorLabs is a high-quality rotation mount designed specifically for compact optical assemblies. The RSP05 provides smooth, backlash-free rotation in a compact and lockable package, making it an ideal solution for various applications.

One of the standout features of the RSP05 is its ability to accept Ø1/2" optics up to 0.23" thick (5.8 mm), which are held securely in place with a compatible retaining ring. This ensures that the optical components are held firmly in place and are not subject to any movement or vibration during use. The RSP05 also boasts compact dimensions of 1.00" x 0.87" x 0.45" (25.4 mm x 22.1 mm x 11.4 mm), making it easy to integrate into even the most space-constrained optical setups. It is designed with a knurled edge and a 360° laser-engraved scale marked at 2° increments that allow for precise, repeatable positioning and fine angular adjustment.

The RSP05 features a top-located setscrew, which can be tightened with a 1/16" (1.5 mm) hex key or balldriver, enables the user to secure the rotational position of the mount quickly and conveniently. To mount an optic, simply place it within the central SM-threaded bore and secure it using a spanner wrench with the included retaining ring. For added flexibility, the RSP05 is post-mountable via 8-32 (M4) mounting tap, which enables the user to easily attach it to other optical components or systems as needed.
