The RSP1C/M by ThorLabs is a versatile rotation mount that is specifically designed to mount Ø1" optics that are up to 0.51” (12.8 mm) thick. With its high-quality construction and precise alignment features, this rotation mount is an ideal solution for a wide range of optical applications.
Measuring at Ø2.22" (Ø56.4mm) and 0.62" (15.6 mm) deep, the RSP1C/M features an adjustable scale that can be unlocked and rotated for easy alignment with the axis of an optic. This is particularly useful for aligning the fast axis of a wave plate or the polarization of a linear polarizer. The RSP1C/M also features an engraved arrow that extends the zero mark all the way to the outside edge of the SM1 (1.035"-40) threaded bore used to mount the optic. This helps with alignment and ensures that optical components are mounted with precision.
Designed with an SM1 threading, the RSP1C/M can accept SM1 lens tubes and other components in addition to Ø1" (Ø25.4mm) optics up to 0.51" (12.8 mm) thick. When paired with a compatible SM1RR retaining ring, the optics can be easily and securely mounted to the rotation mount. For added convenience, the RSP1C/M can also be post-mounted via an 8-32 (M4 x 0.7) tapped hole, making it a versatile addition to any optical setup.
