The SM1P1 by ThorLabs is an optic mount adapter that serves as a versatile tool specifically designed to support Ø1" lens tubes or other SM1-threaded optomechanics. The SM1P1 is perfect for pre-mounting a variety of optical components such as mirrors, Glan-Thompson polarizers or other thick optics.

With optics that are more than 4 mm thick and an adapter length of 19.1 mm, the SM1P1 offers a sturdy and reliable option for securing your optics in place. The mount is specially designed to firmly secure optics. It consists of a single nylon-tipped set screw that tightens the optic against two contact points in the double bore construction. This ensures that the optics stay firmly in place. Additionally, the backside of the mounts are threaded with external SM1 threading, enabling easy integration with a wide range of compatible optomechanics.
