The SM2NFM by ThorLabs is a female F-mount adapter ring utilized for seamlessly integrating F-Mount Nikon lenses into setups that are experimental using compatible optomechanical components. The SM2NFM adapter ring is specifically designed to be compatible with Nikon Ø35 mm camera lens assemblies, ensuring a seamless fit and optimum performance. With external SM2 (2.035"-40) threading on one side, this adapter ring is compatible with SM2-threaded internal components, such as compatible Ø2" lens tubes.
