The SRM05 by ThorLabs is a cage rotation mount that is designed to hold a Ø1/2" optic up to 0.24" (6 mm) thick in a 16 mm cage system. The SRM05 provides 360° of continuous rotation, enabling you to precisely position your optic in any desired orientation. Additionally, the rotating carriage can be locked in place by tightening a nylon-tipped, 0.05" (1.3 mm) hex setscrew, ensuring stable and reliable operation.

One of the key features of the SRM05 is its four through holes that accept Ø4 mm cage rods. These rods can be locked in place by tightening 0.05" (1.3 mm) hex setscrews, making it easy to mount the device in a 16 mm cage system. The SRM05 also boasts 2° graduations on its dial, a rotating carriage equipped with SM05 (0.535"-40) threads, and a Ø0.45" (Ø11.4 mm) clear aperture. Additionally, in order to keep the optic securely in place, this rotation mount comes with a compatible retaining ring.
