The TR05F90 by ThorLabs is a flip mount that serves as a high-quality and reliable solution for mounting Ø1/2" filters and optics with ease and convenience. This flip mount is designed to provide users with a compact and efficient solution for inserting or removing optics from the beam path. With its compact and user-friendly design, the TR05F90 flip mount is an ideal solution for post mounting individually with 8-32 taps. The detent mechanism of the mount holds it securely at either 0° or 90°, and two nylon-tipped setscrews with a 0.05" (1.3 mm) hex allow the mount to be locked into place at any angle between 0° and 90°.

The TR05F90 flip mount can be easily stacked with other mounts using Ø6 mm cage rods. The flexure mechanism of the mount locks it securely to the cage rod, and it is engaged by the setscrew on the side of the mount, which can be easily activated with the included 0.05" (1.3 mm) hex key. Measuring 0.5" (13 mm) thick, the flip mount is compatible with one mount per 0.5" length of Ø6 mm cage rod, making it a versatile solution for a wide range of applications. The included hex key can also be used to fix a standard retaining ring to the TR05F90, which can be easily adjusted using a compatible spanner wrench or replaced with a compatible stress-free retaining ring or plastic retaining ring. It is important to note that the use of a special retaining ring will change the maximum thickness of the optic that can be held in the TR05F90.
