The TR100/M by ThorLabs is a top-quality optical post that is designed to meet the demands of precision construction projects. This post is non-magnetic and made from 303 stainless steel. With a length of 100mm and a precision ground to Ø12.7mm, this post is an essential building block required for most rigid constructions. The TR100/M is compatible with Ø1/2" (Ø12.7mm) optical posts, which feature a black anodized hard coating that provides a lower reflectivity in the UV and visible spectral ranges. This coating is ideal for applications that are sensitive to magnetic fields or reflections.

The TR100/M is a metric post that has a ring-shaped groove in the tapered section, which distinguishes it from its imperial counterpart. It features a bottom-located 1/4"-20 (M6) tapped hole and top-located 8-32 (M4) removable setscrew, providing compatibility with a variety of optic mounts. Additionally, the 8-32 (M4) tapped hole provides additional flexibility by allowing 8-32 (M4) cap screws to be used with a range of universal mounts. The TR100/M also boasts an Ø1/8" (Ø3.2mm) hole, which allows for the use of a balldriver or a compatible SPW501 Spanner Wrench. This feature provides extra leverage when tightening or loosening components, making it easy to work with and adjust.
