The TRF90 by ThorLabs is a versatile 90° Flip Mount that has been expertly designed to mount Ø1" filters and optics with ease. This cutting-edge flip mount is post mountable individually with an 8-32 tap, and features a detent mechanism that holds the TRF90 on an angle. Two nylon-tipped setscrews (0.05" [1.3 mm] hex) allow for the flip mount to be locked into place at any angle between 0° and 90°, offering exceptional flexibility and precision.

The versatile and compact design of the TRF90 allows for easy removeable and insertion of optics from a beam path, making it a must-have for professionals in the field. Additionally, multiple mounts can be stacked with Ø6 mm cage rods, and a flexure mechanism locks the mounts to the cage rod, which is engaged by the setscrew on the side of the mount. The included 0.05" (1.3 mm) hex key ensures that setscrews can be easily adjusted, while a standard retaining ring allows for the mounting of filters or other optics.

It should be noted that using stress-free or plastic retaining rings changes the maximum thickness of the optic that can be held in the TRF90. Additionally, the threaded hole that attaches the TRF90 to the post goes completely through to the rotation mechanism. Therefore, it is crucial that a 0.2" (5 mm) maximum of the screw on post’s top is threaded into the filter mount to avert the rotation mechanism from binding. Lastly, please note that the flat-head spring detent screw is not user adjustable and factory set.
