The ThorLabs TRF90/M is a flip mount that is an essential tool for mounting Ø1" round optics and filters with ease and precision. This flip mount has a compact and versatile design that allows for effortless insertion and removal of optics from the beam path. The TRF90/M is equipped with a detent mechanism that holds it at a 90° angle, ensuring reliable and stable positioning of your optics. With two nylon-tipped setscrews (0.05" [1.3 mm] hex), the mount can be locked at any angle within the range of 0° and 90°, providing maximum flexibility.

Compatible with a standard retaining ring that can be simply adjusted with the use of a spanner wrench or can be interchanged with a retaining ring that is either stress-free or plastic, the TRF90/M can accommodate various optic thicknesses. However, please note the optic’s maximum thickness that can fit into the flip mount can be changed when using a specialized retaining ring. The TRF90/M is also designed with a flexure mechanism that locks the mount to the cage rod, which is actuated with the included hex key.

The TRF90/M has a thickness of 0.5" (13 mm) and can be mounted per 0.5" length of Ø6 mm cage rod, which makes it a space-efficient and practical choice for your experimental setup. To ensure optimal performance, it's important to take note of a few specifications. The threaded hole that is utilized to connect the filter mount and hole goes all the way through to the rotation mechanism, so it's crucial to ensure that the screw located to the top of the post is threaded no more than no more than 0.2" (5 mm) into the filter mount in order to intercept the rotation mechanism binding. Additionally, the flat-head spring detent screw is factory set and not user-adjustable.
